sidewalk cracks the shape of spain
black skies after rain
green moss under the pavement.

misty mountains after rain
smell like summer and
glassy periwinkle lakes

These are examples of the inverted 7-5-7 haiku form.

Mollie F. M. Bera is an eighteen-year-old author and poet who is currently double-majoring at Liberty University in Psychology: Counseling and Writing. A native of both coasts of the U.S. due to her family’s military background, Mollie is passionate about language, coffee, and the Iberian Peninsula. She is outspoken about personality typology and enjoys making people believe she can read their minds.
