Purple flowered trees line street
Pollen everywhere
Allergy season – ACHOO
By K. A. Williams
This is an example of the inverted 7-5-7 haiku form.
Sunshine glows yellow:
frost quickens daffodil – fall
as thriving grass drips.
Winter lingers on
Snow falls on another day
Waiting for the spring
Harbingers of spring
New transitions held at bay
Rain and snow today
Snowy day today
Winter will not go away
When will spring begin
sleet falls on spring day
uncertainty of season
decide to stay home
Open field. Dead tree,
abrasive to no-one’s eye…
cut down, dismembered.
By David Edwards
Stream of consciousness
Flighty as a butterfly
Floating in the wind
A rough-tough creampuff
Proud to be a Gemini
Basking in the light
Still walked like a duck
Grounded by her memories
Of dancing en l’air
By Bruce Levine
vampires bite – beware
blood doeth be sucked – fearing

waiting for the dawn
nightmares escape from my dreams
torment me awake

Apple trees and pears
blossom future hope; one small
bloom ‘forget-me-not’
May prunus always
fall, a girlie pink brash dress;
red tulips her shoes
unbearable heat
solar panels drive coolers
our food grows below
